I just had to show everybody how big jackson's legs are getting. He is a chunck! We weighed him last night and he was 14 1/2 lbs! on the 20th he'll be 3 months too! I don't know if it's normal for him to sleep as much as he does still (5 to 7 hours a day.) But we figured out why he sleeps so much. It's because when he's awake all he does is kick kick kick! His legs are constantly moving. That's not just fat on those legs, it's muscle!

At the Brown house we call this the "ham hock". Ask mom about the Sunday dinner we had with both Gma and Gpa James and Gma and Gpa Done and Rawlings a few years back. Mom made a big ham for dinner and wrapped up the bone from it at the end of dinner and gave it away as a raffle prize to the lucky gma who answered some trivial question right. I think it was gma rawlings who won and I had never seen her so pleased with herself and tickled she had won. btw- this is the definition of the hock: "A ham hock is the end of a smoked ham where the foot was attached to the hog's leg." Awesome.
Jackson's ham hock looks fat and juicy. Delicious.
