HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY

Two days ago, January 20th, Was Jackson's Birthday! We started the morning at 7:15 which I would normally yell at him to go back to bed, but instead I got up and turned on his favorite cartoons while I made him these Micky Mouse pancakes!
He was WAY excited to eat them. Micky Mouse is probably the only pancake that I could make that he would actually be able to recognise! haha! he thought they were great.

Then! Our ward does a social group! And there happened to be a meeting on his birthday so I took cup cakes and we had all the kids sing happy birthday to him why he got to blow out the candles!! YOU should have seen his face. He thought he was SO special! It was awsome!

Then that night we had a big family party. Judd made sweet, sweeeeeet pork, and I made "cafe Rio" beans and rice. And we had these delicious burritos! I made Jackson this dragon cake, which I am SO proud of. Mostly because Judd didn't think I could do it. But VUALA!! there it stands!

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, Jackson loved his cake too. Look at that smile! We relit the candles a few times because he just LOVED blowing them out!...to see more birthday, keep scrolling down!

Jackson loved tearing into his presents! He knew just what to do because he got lots of practise at Christmas time.
OooOOo The Jungle Book. This is one of his most favorite movies! (The other is Lady and the Tramp and the movie Up)

This is a lovely Tshirt his Uncle Juston and soon-to-be Aunt Nicole got him when they went to New York City over Christmas break!

WOO HOOO! this was the biggest hit of the night! Grandma found Jackson a "Steel Stork" Car Carrier! He loves this toy and he played with it all night and all day the next day and today too! I got him that plastic one that's red from the dollar store. Boy does he just love the "Steel Stork" one! Grandma's know best!

Thanks everyone for celebrating another year with our little boy Jackson. Look at him, he is just SO proud to be TWO!

birthday continued

Jackson in his Grandpa's arms. He is a proud TWO year old!!

Jackson loved to open presents. He knew just what to do (christmas time was good practise)

Okay, so not the best picture of Jackson, HAHA but this was by far his favorite present of the night, a steel stork car carrier. oOOoooOOo he loves to play with this!! Thanks grandma and grandpa

This is from Uncle Juston and Aunt Nicole. They went to New York for christmas and brought Jackson home this lovely T-shirt.

This is another GREAT gift. Jackson loves the Jungle Book. Now he has his very own!

My Naky Boys

Porter is doing great. You can tell by that huge smile! We took him to his WIC appointment yesterday and he weighed 11 pounds! he is two months on the 16th. His length was 22 1/2 inches! So he is a growing boy. He gained TWO pounds this month...Jackson was 11lbs at 1 month haha! but it is SO fun to see Porter watch me walk around the room. He follows me with his eyes so well. He smiles EVERY time he sees me. And when he smiles really big he has a dimple. I hope that sticks and it's not just a dimple from fat.My Naky boys. Jackson is still doing SO well with him. He loves him SO much. Almost every time Jackson throws a tizzy fit and we draw his attention to Porter he stops crying instantly and starts smiling. He sings songs to Porter. He talks to him. He says "hello" to him every morning. He loves to cuddle him. It is just SO funny!
But Judd's mom, Sue, says that Judd was JUST LIKE THAT with his brothers and sister...So tender. It really makes my days easier to see them bonding so well. . . It also makes me want to have more kids. HAHA but don't worry we are still waiting a while.
