an update!

Can you see our beautiful CHERRY tree?! It is the first thing I see when I pull into our driveway! ANYWAY, the berries were ripe for the picken so I hopped to it and this....

...turned into this!! Cherry pie filling. And I made the best cherry pie I have ever tasted! and Judd agreed (and it's rare when we agree)

Now for some family pics! this was on a walk up by Heise we took with my parents when they came to visit!

This is a pic of us during one of the 4th of July Parades. We spent the weekend down near Logan, Utah. Judd's sister Julie was a fabulous host!! We went to a carnival, a HUGE car show. (It was my 6th year in a row spending 4th of July down there...it's pretty much a tradition now)

And last but not least. Utah, most of Idaho, and even parts of Canada celebrate the 24th of July as the day to honor the Pioneers that came and settled the West! It's just like the 4th of July, Parades, fireworks, free community events! July is a great month for us up here in the Northwest! We spend ours every year, in Canada where most of Judd's extended family lives. This is a family photo with Grandma James! we had SO much fun!

more pictures to come =o)

Oh my goodness, I was so upset that here in WA they did nothing for Pioneer Day. Nothing!
