Ladybugs!

SO, for the last 3 weeks or so we have been find -I mean the boys, have been finding ladybugs in our house...at first I think it was just the same one they kept refinding it. But now I am convinced there are several! Spring is coming. Porter LOVES the bugs, so does Jackson, but Porter is so fun to see he giggles and squeals and loves to have them crawl on him. It's nice for me, A single ladybug can entertain Porter for 5 whole minutes!



We have been putting the ladybugs in the vegetables we have been starting. Porter has one on his finger, and you can tell he is excited, hehe. We know there are hopefuly no aphids on these leaves for the ladybugs to eat. But I have no where else to put them.

I opened a couple bags of beans into a cardboard box and the boys play with them every now and then...it's a "special activity" But it has kept us sane through the winter months...

We have had the beans about two months now....maybe I'll try planting them outside in a few weeks...don't worry, we wont eat them!
But they LOVE to put their hands in the beans and scoop them with measuring cups and hide their little toys in them....? I don't know how they think of these things...but it's what we have I guess, until we get a sandbox!

I know, it's been a long time

It's been a while and I have been just doing the same ole same ole with the kids...yeah, we mix it up a bit, Artic Circle for lunch, then some days McDonalds. We also play with play dough, color, watch tons of movies, and the boys wrestle like crazy!!! SOOOO when they go to sleep (Porter is on a one-nap-a-day- schedule...finally!) I get to play. hehehe

And now I am stuck!!! should I make the blue run diagonal????

Or, Straight up and down?????

I just don't know what to do? Tell me what you think...The flowers are diagonal one way, or straight the other....I just can't decide, What do you think?
When the blue runs diagonal the quilt is bigger...but that doesn't matter b/c either way I'm going to have to add borders to make it fit a king size bed!
